Art and Chelsea Jackson are the chef/owners of Pleasant House Three Oaks and Pleasant House Bakery in Chicago.
Most recently the chef of Bijan’s Bistro in downtown Chicago, Art has worked at such lauded restaurants as Les Nomades in Chicago and Fifth Floor in San Francisco. He also teaches a series of food-driven seminars at the Chicago showroom for Bulthaup. He graduated from Illinois State University and attended Kendall College.
Chelsea is a writer and editor, and the pastry chef of Pleasant House Bakery. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and Kendall College.
Amanda Bates is the head brewer for Pleasant House Brewing Company. She was most recently a manager and brewer for Brew and Grow in Chicago. Prior to that she worked in the field in Eugene, Oregon. She attended Northwestern University.
